Lotus Montessori Programs
The beauty of the Montessori method is that it strongly promotes a love of education at a young age. Children learn the value of self-discovery, creativity, and independence, preparing them for school and life. With us, your little one will grow to become more self-confident so that they can face challenges on their own.
Lotus Montessori offers childcare programs by age, from 6 weeks to school age. Each program features appropriate learning environments and resources that will nurture your child’s holistic growth. Each program varies in duration, with older groups usually having longer sessions.
We also offer long daycare services from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Here is a general outlook of the programs we provide at Lotus Montessori.
Kindy
At this age, your little learner possesses the fundamental knowledge and skills to handle the demands of school life. The kinder program is a step closer to higher educational levels. In this stage, we strengthen the school readiness of your child without losing the element of fun, experiential learning.
Children aged 4 years to School age
The Kinder program is the transitional stage between educational play and a more formal academic setting. This Montessori classroom focuses more on preparing your child for more demanding tasks and lessons requiring concentration and independence. The learner should exercise their problem-solving skills as they begin to learn about more complex concepts at this stage.
This space is closely supervised by a teacher who interacts directly with the group. The lessons become more formal, as observed in the primary school setting. Some tasks require learners to work cooperatively, which consequently fosters their communication skills.
At Lotus Montessori, we offer a broad range of activities under this program. Aside from fundamental subjects, our educators may also provide specialised lessons like food preparation, grace and curtesy, gardening , and more.
Once they step inside the classroom, the four-year-olds are assessed for their preparedness in transitioning to formal education. Our experts take note of their capabilities and provide a suitable curriculum to boost their learning concerning the Montessori philosophy.
Children in their formative years are more receptive to new knowledge and skills. The Kindy program is the best time to introduce more complex concepts that align with the child’s interests. Doing so inspires them to seek answers to their curiosities and emboldens their love for learning even more.
