Lotus Montessori Programs
The beauty of the Montessori method is that it strongly promotes a love of education at a young age. Children learn the value of self-discovery, creativity, and independence, preparing them for school and life. With us, your little one will grow to become more self-confident so that they can face challenges on their own.
Lotus Montessori offers childcare programs by age, from 6 weeks to school age. Each program features appropriate learning environments and resources that will nurture your child’s holistic growth. Each program varies in duration, with older groups usually having longer sessions.
We also offer long daycare services from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Here is a general outlook of the programs we provide at Lotus Montessori.
Nursery
The Nursery program in our childcare centre aims to deliver the developmental needs of the youngest learners. You can trust our educators to create a safe, nurturing environment for your precious infant. Using materials suitable for this age bracket, we stimulate their senses including sight, sound, movement, and touch.
Children aged 6 weeks to 18 months
In Lotus Montessori, the Nursery classroom is a safe space that allows your little one to move freely. The routine is consistent with the philosophy that learning and play time can coexist. Children get their first glimpses of what learning is about—gaining experiences through hands-on tasks and activities.
The four corners of the Nursery classroom are a place for interactive play involving music, movement, and arts and crafts. Young learners can develop and refine their motor skills by moving to the beat of fun nursery rhymes.
Our educators work hard to provide a home-like setting for children. As professionals in the industry, we take pride in the warm and loving atmosphere of our classrooms. We welcome each learner and make sure to guard their safety while in our care. As your childcare partner, we become the extended family that imparts essential learnings for the child.
Before we take your child in, we ask you to sit down with us to tell your ‘Who am I?’ story. What is your routine at home? Does your little one have unique needs that may require our attention? It’s our duty to understand and respect the individuality of the learner in creating the prepared environment.
Most people assume that nursery age is too young to start education, but it is never too early to learn! Children absorb information that they can gather through their senses. The first twelve months are when the child grows the fastest, which means these are the best times for learning. Lotus Montessori has bespoke programs that maximize their learning capacity.
Children in our Nursery program face new challenges that help develop various skills that they need in the future. Every task is designed to sharpen their senses, which can further advance their growth and development.
We provide the essentials like nappies and other personal care items while your child is in our care. You can inform us of your baby’s daily routine, and we’ll create a care plan that fits their needs!
